DENKA POWER CSA T-S

DENKA POWER CSA T-S is an expansive additive made by Japanese company DENKA. It works by compensating for the hydraulic shrinkage of cementitious systems and prevents crack formation. DENKA POWER CSA T-S obtains its expansion strength through the combined action of calcium sulphoaluminate, which forms ettringite microcrystals (3CaO . Al2O3 . 3CaSO4 . 32H2O), and calcium oxide, which turns into calcium hydroxide when in contact with mixing water. The effect of using DENKA POWER CSA T-S is to densify the matrix, reduce shrinkage, and induce chemical stress in the product through restrained expansion. This helps minimize cracking caused by drying shrinkage and increases water tightness, making DENKA POWER CSA T-S ideal for use in formulations that require these properties such as shrinkage compensating drymix mortars, shrinkage compensating concrete, and pre-cast concrete members.
