SILFOAM SD 8264

SILFOAM® SD 8264 is a 100 %, emulsifyable, high-performance silicone antifoam concentrate especially developed for the demands of the agrochemical industry. SILFOAM® SD 8264 is recommended for foaming systems where a high compatibility with the antifoam agent must be ensured. SILFOAM® SD 8264 can be used in applications which usually pose problems for transparent plant protective formulations. By virtue of its structure SILFOAM® SD 8264 provides much better efficiency and persistency in pesticide formulations and surfactant concentrates and can therefore be used in smaller amounts than conventional silicone antifoam agents. Apart from agricultural formulations, SILFOAM® SD 8264 is useful in surfactant-containing systems whose efficiency is reduced by action of shearing and dispersion forces. SILFOAM® SD 8264 offers excellent stability and processability at temperatures far below 0°C (32 °F). *Product cannot be used in pharmaceutical formulations - only to be used in agrochemicals.
