Key materials:
Microcement consists of a dry mix (Part A) and polymer dispersion (Part B) in 2K systems, or a pre-mixed 1K system. Raw materials include:
- Cement and Fillers: Optimised particle size distribution to enhance smooth finish, while cellulosic fibres improve crack resistance.
- Polymeric Binders: Vinyl acetate-ethylene (VAE) copolymers improve adhesion, flexibility, and workability. Higher polymer-to-cement ratios in topcoats ensure ultra-thin, high-performance layers.
- Additives: Swellable polymers extend workability, hydrophobic agents enhance water resistance, while defoamers ensure a defect-free appearance.
- Protective Sealers: 1K polyurethane or SMP clear coats improve stain, chemical, and abrasion resistance.
