DURASYN 174 I is a high viscosity polyalphaolefin that provides inherent thermal stability and resistance to oxidation. As a fully synthesized and hydrogenated hydrocarbon base fluid, DURASYN 174 I maintains viscosity grade over extended service life. Its engineered viscometrics make it suitable for exposure to low or high start-up or operating temperatures, or operation over wide temperature ranges. These properties allow DURASYN 174 I to be beneficial in applications that require continuous performance under low, high, or fluctuating temperature conditions. It is compatible with metals and engineered to be a substitute for existing PAO fluids. DURASYN 174 I can enhance the performance of fully formulated products by extending service life.
