GRANSIL PS-5
GRANSIL PS-5 is an off-white paste that functions as a volatile elastomer dispersion in Cyclopentasiloxane (D5). GRANSIL PS-5 adds USP grade petrolatum which provides increased moisturization and skin hydration while the elastomer acts as a non-greasy delivery vehicle. It delivers excellent non-tacky, non-oily characteristics and stable delivery of actives. GRANSIL PS-5 absorbs sebum and provides skin control while transforming textures into a matte, powdery feel. It can be added to oil phases of emulsions and anhydrous systems, and is particularly useful where increased moisturization and hydration is desired.
