ESTEROL A ®
Oleris® Esterol A is a bio-based mixture of methyl esters of linear fatty acids (≥75% C18), saturated and unsaturated. It is processed from castor oil and has 100% vegetable oil origin. It has a negative carbon footprint and is readily biodegradable (83% in 28 days OECD 301F). Free of heavy metals and PAHs. Used as a biobased alternative to hazardous volatile solvents for industrial applications with excellent wetting and cleaning properties and as a degreasing and cleaning agent for its high solvent power (Kauri-Butanol Value: 69 (ASTM D1133)). Also used as a bio-based secondary plasticizer (phthalate-free).
