ESTISOL 242

Ester based on natural, saturated fatty acids derived from coconut oil. It is a strong polar solvent with a high flash point and excellent environmental properties. ESTISOL 242 is used in the formulation of heatset- and sheetfed offset inks. ESTISOL 242 is recommended as a component in industrial cleaning fluids such as degreasing agents, automotive cleaners and hand cleaners. Product is also an ideal replacement for traditional solvents, e.g. kerosene, alcohols and glycol ethers. It is often used in combination with ESTISOL 312 and/or ESTISOL150.
