SILTEX 44

SILTEX® 44 FUSED SILICA is an ultra-high performance extender pigment and filler. This high purity product is produced by melting selected glass sands at extremely high temperatures. The resulting amorphous product is then cooled, ground, and classified. The unique amorphous nature of the resulting product impartsimproved optical, thermal, and physical propertiesto systems that can not be obtained from naturally-occurring crystalline or amorphous silicas.
