BAYHYDROL A 2427

BAYHYDROL A 2427 is an aqueous, hydroxyfunctional polyacrylate dispersion that can be used in the formulation of fast-drying, waterborne two-component primers and topcoats. BAYHYDROL A 2427 provides benefits like good chemical resistance properties, especially resistance to discoloring liquids when combined with anionic hydrophilically modified polyisocyanates. It also allows formulations to have high ethanol and resistance to other chemicals, especially in one-component metallic monocoat systems which provides protection and aesthetics. BAYHYDROL A 2427 dispersions increase hardness in many coating formulations improving durability of the finished product. Formulations using BAYHYDROL A 2427 have maximum pot life of 4 hours, suitable for automated application methods. It can be cleaned from equipment using water, water-solvent mixtures or alkaline cleaners, making it suitable for industrial production.
