ARGIREC B22

ARGIREC B22 is a sedimentary kaolinite clay mineral from the Charentes basin in South West France. It has a water content of 0.7% and residue on 36um sieve of 500 PPM. ARGIREC B22 has a L* of 87.6 and brightness a* of 1.5 with a b* of 6.9 and pH of 5.0. It has a loss on ignition of 12% and contains 38.6% Al2O3, 55.7% SiO2, 1.5% TiO2, 1.9% Fe2O3, 0.9% K2O, 0.3% CaO and 0.3% MgO. ARGIREC B22 is suitable for applications requiring absorbency, moisture retention and viscosity control. Its high purity and controlled particle size distribution make it well-suited for formulations where long-lasting performance is required.
