Natrosol™ hydrdoxyethylcellulose (HEC), a nonionic, water-soluble polymer, is a white, free-flowing granular powder. Solutions of Natrosol™ HEC are pseudoplastic or shear-thinning. Natrosol™ HEC is easily dissolved in cold or hot water to give crystal-clear solutions of varying viscosities.
