IMCD Spain's sponsorship agreement with ANFAPA is a win-win, from which our local organization will obtain even closer contact with the challenges and needs of our customers.
ANFAPA is the Spanish Association of Manufacturers of Mortars and Exterior Thermal Insulation Systems, and since its foundation in 1987 it gathers the pioneering Spanish companies in the manufacturing and development of products in this sector. Currently, ANFAPA brings together more than 40 companies that contribute with ideas and capability for the promotion and dissemination of mortars and SATE, as well as participating in national and European standardization forums, and acting in defense of the interests of the sector in front of the Administrations and Institutions.
The agreement
The support of around twenty sponsors, including large raw materials manufacturers such as Wacker and Imerys, is key to ANFAPA’s daily activity. Therefore, IMCD Spain has considered this association as a group of primary relevance where to contribute with our strength in technical knowledge and formulation solutions.
The sponsorship agreement, to be effective from this November, has been signed during a recent interview between Carlos Farré, BUM Coatings & Construction IMCD Iberia, and Robert Benedé, manager of ANFAPA, in our facilities in Barcelona.

ANFAPA’s annual meeting will take place in Madrid on November 23, and the team within IMCD Spain directly involved in Construction is expected to participate in it (Estel Alonso, Market Manager Construction, and Raul Hernández and David Santeliz, both Construction Sales & Product Managers).
