ActiWise Sodium Phytate is a natural-sourced component of rice, obtained by double upcycling. It is not only a metal chelator, it shows a remarkably wide range of skin benefits, related e.g. to skin health, elasticity and protection. ActiWise Sodium Phytate is a beautiful example of double upcycling: upcycled from a by-product (rice bran)in an upcycling process. It has chemoprotective properties against harmful chemicals, and has a DNA damage repair potential. Topical application showed protection against UVB damage.
