BUTROL 9119

BUTROL 9119 is a micronized halogen-free flame retardant agent and corrosion inhibitive pigment with low environmental impact. It contains no restricted metals and is functional in both water and solvent based systems. BUTROL 9119 has a very small particle size of 0.97 - 7.3 um which makes it suitable for applications where many corrosion inhibitors would be unusable. It is a greener corrosion inhibitor based on calcium and has low oil adsorption. BUTROL 9119 has shown excellent efficacy and is white in color with low refractive index, making it appropriate for clear and colored systems. It can be used at 1%-10% based on total weight of the formulation. BUTROL 9119 provides corrosion inhibition and flame retardant properties without restricted metals, making it suitable for industries that require durable, non-toxic coatings and materials.
