WACKER FINISH WT 1650

WACKER FINISH WT 1650 is a non-reactive "functional silicone fluid". It imparts a very soft, drapable, and elastic touch to woven and knitted fabrics, and also improves the wash-and-wear properties and the crease recovery angle, sewability, and tear strength and reduces abrasion loss. Furthermore, WACKER FINISH WT 1650 has only little effect on the degree of whiteness in a softener formulation. In general, no adverse effect on the shade or color fastness properties of colored goods is observed; therefore, it is considered to be the best softening agent for PES-knit ware. It is particularly suitable as an active substance in softener formulations for the impregnation of fibers and textiles.
