WACKER POWERSOFT AE 61

Silicone macro emulsions based on POWERSOFT® AE 61 are particularly suitable for the impregnation of all kinds of fibers and textiles. They impart a very soft, drapable and elastic hand to a wide range of fiber materials such as cotton (CO), polyester (PES), viscose (CV) and their mixtures. Treatment with POWERSOFT® AE 61 improves sewability, wash-and-wear properties, easy iron and crease recovery. Moreover, the effects resist to washing and dry cleaning. POWERSOFT® AE 61 has very little effect on the degree of whiteness, in general, no adverse effect on the shade or colour fastness properties of coloured goods is observed.
